Seville: the perfect destination for a full day activity
Early in the morning from your hotel, we will go to Plaza de España. A world famous place, the great Plaza de España will dazzle and seduce you with its beauty.
Filming location for many films such as Star Wars : it is an unquestionable place for a magnificent memory of your stay in Seville.
A very curious detail, although the Plaza de España may seem old because of its architecture and style, it is a 'hoax': it was built in 1929 for the Ibero-American exhibition .
Passage to the Maria Luisa Park
The Maria Luisa Park that is located next to the Plaza de España. This park is one of the must-see attractions in the city. The shade of the trees is always perfect and we will see the famous Aldofo Becquer roundabout.
We will also have a brief explanation throughout our tour of the Casino de l'Exposition and the former Tobacco Factory that will be the final touch of this part of the morning walk.
Seville Jewish Quarter. The Barrio Santa Cruz.
Once our stop at the Maria Luisa is finished, we will cross the Murillo gardens passing by two 23-meter-high Corinthian columns that hold a lion with a globe, in the Barrio de La Judería, the wonderful neighborhood of Santa Cruz.
Our walk will continue through the famous winding streets of the old Jewish quarter of Seville, the alley of water, the Plaza de Santa Cruz in Seville, we will see the Murillo Gardens and the Monument to Christopher Columbus in Seville and the Portrait of Catalina de Ribera in the Gardens of the Paseo de Catalina de Ribera.
Accompanied by your cultural guide, you will gradually immerse yourself in an irresistible atmosphere while listening to the peculiarities and anecdotes of the fascinating history of Santa Cruz.
Visit to the Real Alcázar
We will go directly to the Reales Alcázares; one of the most representative monuments in the entire city of Seville and even in Andalusia with the Alhambra in Granada.
It is also one of the oldest royal buildings in Europe and a perfect reflection of the history of the ancient Hispalis.
You will enter without queuing thanks to the preferential line provided by your official guide.
Walk through the Arenal neighborhood.
El Arenal, a neighborhood full of history, but very little known. In our time, it is known as a place closely linked to the world of theater, bullfighting and brotherhoods; but in the past it was the place of surprising atmosphere. Young people, very liberal women, sailors, carpenters, construction workers, laborers, coopers, street sweepers and garbage collectors were the tenants of this neighborhood.
El Barrio del Nuevo Mundo is a neighborhood that never ceases to amaze, and you will see for yourself that many details of its past still live on its streets.
El Arenal is the perfect place to stop and rest.
Bohemian neighborhood of Triana
Finally you will be able to know Triana. A charming neighborhood full of bohemian spirit.
It is one of the most popular neighborhoods of many Sevillians and one of those that best represents the character of the city and the Sevillians.
It was the cradle of gypsy culture in Seville.
And if the day of your visit the Triana market is open, we will pass through it.
