It is a city with a rich heritage over time, so it is not surprising to see the mark it has left on the architectural spaces of Córdoba such as the old Jewish quarter, the Mosque-Cathedral and the Roman Bridge .
Stop in Carmona before Córdoba
We will leave Seville and head to Carmona, a white town located between Seville and Córdoba, just thirty-five minutes from the city. Worth stopping for a while, Carmona is one of those small Andalusian towns that captivate people with their beauty.
Arrival in Cordoba
Once we have finished our journey by car (it will take us approximately one hour from Carmona), we will reach our main destination to begin a walking tour of the historic center of Córdoba.
The tour begins with a quick introduction to the historic center of Córdoba. We will explore monuments and buildings related to the Moorish culture. You will have the opportunity to ask questions or take photos at any point of the tour to remember this trip in Córdoba forever and show your friends or family what you have seen.
We will walk through some of the most famous streets of the city, passing through the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Stables, the Roman Bridge, the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos and then we will stop at the Córdoba Synagogue (FYI: the synagogue is closed on Monday).
After a break to enjoy Cordoba cuisine and have lunch, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. This mosque-cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, declared a World Heritage Site in 1984.
Impressive architectural jewel that originally served a Muslim cult and that today is an important part of the cultural heritage and the best way to end this magnificent day in Córdoba.
After the visit to the Mezquita of Córdoba, we set out on the road to where our driver awaits us and we will arrive in time for dinner in Seville with the feeling of having spent an exceptional day.
