Seville Intensive Visit 1 Day

If you are visiting Seville for only one day, we offer you the following program that will give you an idea of the wealth of Seville in 1 day only .

Note: The order of visits and timetables may vary slightly depending on the course of the day, the time of l´année and the number of visitors.

– Plaza de España: Let’s start the visit !

From 9:30 am from your hotel, we will head to Plaza de España. A world-famous place, the great Plaza de España will dazzle and seduce you with its beauty.

The location of many films such as Star Wars : it is an unquestionable place for a magnificent souvenir of your stay in Seville.

A very curious detail, although La Plaza de España may seem old for its architecture and style, c´est un trompe-œil : it was built in 1929 on the occasion of the Ibero-American exhibition.  The Plaza of Spain

– Passage to Maria Luisa Park

We will continue our journey through the Parque Maria Luisa that is next to the Plaza de España. This park is one of the obligatory attractions of the city. The shade of the trees is always perfect and we will see the famous roundabout of the Aldofo Becquer.

We will also have a brief explanation along our tour of the Casino de l’Exposition and the former Tobacco Factory which will be the final touch of this part of the morning walk.

– Address the Bohemian Quarter: Triana is waiting for us!

Finally you will get to know Triana . A charming neighbourhood full of bohemian spirit.

It is one of the most popular neighborhoods of many Sevillians and one of those that best represents the character of the city and the Sevillians.

It was the cradle of the gypsy culture in Seville.

And if on the day of your visit the market of Triana is open, we will pass through it.

– Ends the morning in a perfect way: Walk through the neighborhood of Arenal

El Arenal, a neighborhood full of history, but very little known. In our time, it is known as a place closely linked to the world of theatre, bullfighting and brotherhoods; but in the past it was the place of a surprising atmosphere . Young people, very liberal women, sailors, carpenters, construction workers, workmen, coopers, sweepers and garbage collectors were the tenants of this neighborhood .

is a neighborhood that never ceases to amaze, and you will see for yourself that many details of its past still live on its streets.

El Arenal is the perfect place to stop and rest.

– Well-deserved rest

It’s time to rest. You are offered to eat tapas with your guide* or rest as you wish.

Lunch* is optional. As the guided tour Discover Seville in 1 day must be booked on request, when confirming the dates of your visit take the opportunity to find out if you want to have lunch or tapas with the guide. Different options and types of catering are available depending on your budget.

– Visit of the Real Alcázar and the district of Santa Cruz:

After the rest, we will go directly to the Reales Alcázares , one of the most representative monuments of the whole city of Seville and even of Andalusia with the Alhambra of Granada.

It is also one of the oldest royal buildings in Europe and a perfect reflection of the history of the ancient Híspalis.

– Santa Cruz District: End of the day

Once the interior visit to the Real Alcázar is finished, we will cross Place Del Triunfo and we will pass under the arc of the Patio de Banderas, which is one of the entrances to the old Jewish quarter, to enter in the Barrio de La Judería, the wonderful Santa Cruz..

Our tour will continue through all the winding streets of the former Jewish quarter of Seville .

Accompanied by your cultural guide, you will gradually immerse yourself in an irresistible atmosphere as you listen to the particularities and anecdotes of the fascinating history of Santa Cruz .
